I was hoping that this could be that magic tool to finally calm my wavy, frizzy hair. This arrived today and here's my experience.

First my hair type is blonde, shoulder-length, frizzy and wavy and is colored every weeks. I used DreamCoat spray and Caviar blowout creme to help with the frizz and was hopeful this combination in addition to this styling dryer would give me the straight, frizz-free results so many others had.

I sectioned my hair and after a couple of minutes I noticed how unbelievably hot this dryer gets. This dryer is more of an oval shape than the circular shape I expected. I had this set on the highest setting to get the straight results I wanted. This dryer has hot air blowing fiercely all over the barrel. My bathroom is small and doesn't have windows and I had to have the door open and a fan on in addition to the air conditioning it became that hot.

The hot air blew against my face when drying the sides of my hair and it was uncomfortable. I stopped partway through just to be able to cool down. Also, this dryer is huge, almost too big.

My hair is shoulder length and this dryer felt too large for my hair. It was difficult to get to the roots of my hair because this dryer was that large. It is also very uncomfortable to hold for long period of time. I noticed when I set it down after a few minutes to answer a text, my hand was numb from holding it and it was difficult to move my fingers to text my daughter back. That feeling eventually went away. As a result, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has hand or wrist issues.

It was also difficult for me to dry the back of my hair because this dryer was so large and I had trouble due to its size getting close enough to the roots in the back of my head and after I finished I realized there were parts still not dry. I still had to go over my hair with my straightener. I love that I'm able to blow my hair out as well as give it a little curl. No more flat iron stuck to the head look.

Tried using several different power outlets in my house but that wasn't the problem. The problem was it stopped working out of now where. Never dropped or anything…. Got it for Christmas from my daughter because I've always wanted one and I'm in love.

It delivers what it says it will do and my long hair looks awesome in half the time. However, and this is a BIG issue … the handle is huge and uncomfortable to hold.

I work out, lift weights, do hot yoga and and am in no way "weak. Also keep in mind you have to hold the handle and manipulate it and roll it through your hair one section at a time — that's a lot of work.

So yes this products styles your hair in half the time BUT I often have to take breaks and rest my arm before I can finish my hair.

This literally doesn't even turn on. I've gotten it to work maybe twice after 10 minutes of messing with the cord as much as I could. Ever since, it stopped working completely. Spend this money on any other similar product just not this one.

Purchased this December 8th and received it December 14th. Tried for the first time tonight and within a few seconds of it being on it started getting a burning smell and the handle started to get hot.

I am please to say in less than a week I received a brand new hair dryer from the manufacturer. This blow dryer has a 7 year warranty and if it just stops working like some of the reviews say you can call the manufacturer and they will replace the dryer for free.

Used it only once and I'm already hooked! I have hip length, thick, 2c very deeply wavy hair, used this in conjunction with my normal hair care routine straight out of the shower before styling and it worked wonderfully. I had minimal hair breakage make sure to comb out each section of hair before styling! I would suggest however using a blowout balm or anti frizz product with this tool though, I used DryBars liquid glass sealant and I had experienced 0 frizz my hair naturally is very frizzy.

I love this - my hair is silky soft and it doesn't take very long to dry. I live in a degrees state, I can finally shower and dry my hair quickly if I need to go out. It's not as loud as people make it out to be - a hair dryer is loud. I also will start to brush my hair with this and dry my hair at the same time. It's amazing. It does get a little hot by the scalp but it's a HOT….. Recommended every time from me.

Because I loved this blow dryer so much I took extra good care of it, always removing hair and dust build up. One day I was using it on the high setting and it went to low without me switching to the low setting. The low setting was even lower. Then I noticed the part where you hold it was getting very hot.

I turned it off and tried turning it on again and it wouldn't turn back on. It smelled like the motor blew.
